  - The Pianist

The Pianist is the true story of Wladyslaw Szpilman, a Jewish concert pianist who survived the German invasion of Poland and the Warsaw Ghetto in World War II. The film won three Oscars, as well as the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Well worth your time.
